About ContentJet

ContentJet is a performance creative company specializing in UGC and performance advertising. We have produced 19,000+ videos and our creative has generated billions of views for brands around the world. We are now building our own technology platform to replace our current operations stack and become the central operating system for our teams, clients, creators, and creative strategists. The platform will combine workflow management with AI-assisted product analysis, creative research, winning-ad intelligence, data classification, campaign strategy, and performance feedback loops.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a senior, product-minded Full-Stack Developer to help build ContentJet's new internal and client-facing platform from the ground up. You will own major product surfaces across the frontend and application layer, translating complex operational workflows into a fast, intuitive product used daily by creative strategists, operations teams, sales, creators, and clients. This person will focus heavily on building the actual product and user experience, working closely with the Backend Developer, who owns the data and services layer underneath.

What You'll Do

  • Build and ship production-grade web applications across frontend and server-side application layers.
  • Recreate and substantially improve workflows currently managed in Monday.com, including projects, requests, stages, assignments, deadlines, approvals, QA, activity history, dashboards, notifications, and permissions.
  • Build interfaces for AI-assisted product analysis, competitor research, creative strategy, winning-ad analysis, briefs, and campaign recommendations.
  • Integrate frontend experiences with internal APIs, AI services, advertising/creative intelligence APIs, storage systems, and other third-party services.
  • Design reusable components and maintain a consistent, high-quality product experience across complex operational modules.
  • Work closely with the backend developer and Fractional CTO on architecture, API contracts, data models, security, scalability, and technical standards.
  • Implement authentication, role-based access, auditability, file/video workflows, search, filters, reporting, and real-time or near-real-time product experiences where appropriate.
  • Translate business requirements and existing Monday.com processes into reliable product logic without simply copying legacy limitations.
  • Write maintainable, tested code; participate in code reviews; improve developer tooling, observability, and deployment workflows.
  • Move quickly from requirements to prototypes to production while maintaining engineering quality.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong recent experience building modern SaaS or workflow products.
  • Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills and deep experience with a modern frontend framework such as React/Next.js.
  • Strong backend/application development experience with Node.js/TypeScript or an equivalent modern server-side stack.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Strong relational database fundamentals, ideally PostgreSQL, including schema design and query performance.
  • Experience with authentication, authorization/RBAC, file storage, background jobs, caching, and production web security.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and handling imperfect, asynchronous, rate-limited, or changing external data sources.
  • Experience deploying and operating cloud applications using modern CI/CD practices.
  • Strong product judgment and ability to turn ambiguous operational requirements into simple user experiences.
  • Excellent written English and ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed remote team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI/LLM-powered product features, structured outputs, embeddings, retrieval, or agentic workflows.
  • Experience with ad-tech, marketing-tech, creative intelligence, social-platform APIs, or analytics products.
  • Experience with video/media upload, processing, transcription, or asset-management workflows.
  • Experience migrating operational systems from tools such as Monday.com, Airtable, Notion, Asana, or custom internal tooling.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, queues, WebSockets, or real-time collaboration.
  • Experience in an early-stage or scale-up environment where engineers own features end to end.

What Success Looks Like

  • Core operational workflows are intuitive, fast, and reliable enough for teams to move away from Monday.com.
  • Creative strategists can use the platform to move from product inputs and source data to actionable strategy in one coherent workflow.
  • Features ship quickly without creating a fragile codebase or inconsistent user experience.
  • The product is built around real operational needs, with strong usability, permissions, auditability, and performance.

Perks & Benefits

  • Fully remote work with an international team.
  • Paid time off.
  • Performance-based bonuses.
  • High ownership and direct influence over a platform that will become core infrastructure for the company.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of performance marketing, creative strategy, AI, data, and workflow automation.
  • Fast-moving environment with direct access to company leadership and short decision-making cycles.

How We Work

We value ownership, speed, clear communication, practical problem-solving, and measurable outcomes. You will work closely with leadership and with the people who use the platform every day. We expect engineers to understand the business problem behind a feature, question weak assumptions, and help design better solutions.
